This baby sits inside my full Sawzall box and sometimes it's a tough call which tool I pull out first. This little gem is a delight to use. The twist lock works as well as my sawzall blade lock, which means easy.Best is that the blades are replaceable unlike some keyhole saws. I've put a long pruning blade, Bosch RP125 12-Inch 5 TPI Wood Cutting reciprocating Saw Blades - 5 Pack on it to trim up over hanging branches. I've used Milwaukee 48-00-4784 Ice Edge TORCH Sawzall Blade 18 Teeth Per Inch 6-Inch Length as a quick hacksaw. So no worries if I use it to cut roots in the dirt.Highly recommended. No one else makes one as nice as this one.
Wow. This was exactly what I needed. I bought the 12 piece blade set and the carrying pouch as well. I love to do minor repairs around the house and do work from time to time as a painter. A great deal though and I will definitely be buying these for others this Christmas. Owning a Sawzall would make me very happy, but I cannot justify the purchase of one now as I simply would not use it enough. I am very impressed by this tool. This is an impressive tool, having a nice weight / feel and a great mechanism to hold the blade.
However, I wanted to find a hand saw that would allow me to similar tasks on a smaller scale. After reading the reviews, I felt that I should try this out. If I don't buy the Sawzall, I will have blades for the rest of my life. Well done Milwaukee.
Easy quick-change blade locking mechanism (same as is used on the Sawzall) and features a receptacle where a standard broom or paint extension handle can be screwed in for using in far reaching places. Well made tool with nice handle grip.
Great saw. This holds the blades very securely yet allows you to quickly change blades. It uses sawzall blades which you probably already have. And because it uses sawzall blades you have almost unlimited choices in readily available blades to choose from.
Mine ended up in the garden shed. I use it with an aggressive blade for pruning tree branches.
